Confidence & Provenance

Every extracted value in Talonic carries a confidence score (0.0 to 1.0) and a per-cell provenance trail. The confidence score reflects how certain the pipeline is about the extraction, influenced by the field tier, validation results, and Re-read outcomes. The provenance trail records the exact source region, bounding box, extraction method, and reasoning for each pipeline phase, providing full auditability for regulated industries.
