Talonic classifies every document using a 529-type ontology that spans invoices, contracts, medical records, shipping documents, financial statements, and more. This classification drives automatic schema matching through the Field Registry, ensuring the correct fields are extracted for each document type. The ontology is hierarchical, allowing both broad category and precise subtype identification.
